Topping Out Ceremony at Coal Drops Yard, King's Cross
The Topping Out Ceremony for the two restored 1850s Victorian Coal Drops Yard buildings at King’s Cross, took place recently. Designed by Heatherwick Studio and Arup, with BAM Construction as the Principal Contractor, these buildings form part of a dynamic new public space in the centre of London. The design will open up the area to the public, linking the viaducts and the yard between them, creating a space which people can enjoy.
The project is due for completion in the last quarter of 2018.
BCAL have been part of the prestigious King’s Cross redevelopment for many years, working on numerous projects.
