The Wilson Countryside Management Centre provides facilities for Game Rearing, Fish Breeding and Countryside Skills. Positioned in a rural setting the new building was designed to compliment the existing barn with curved arches and reclaimed bricks.
BCAL were appointed to produce the concept for the building together with the civil and structural design.
The facilities green credentials are enhanced by the use of solar panels, a weather station and a reed bed to act as a tertiary treatment for the foul water from the building before discharging to the existing water course.
The reception of the building has a large, recessed, fresh water fish tank on display.
