Developed on a phased programme commencing in 1992 the stadium is a fine example of mixed accommodation for spectators, corporate hospitality and player fitness.
Continuous flight augured piles or Vibro stone columns support cantilevered steel frames and precast concrete terracing providing a current ground capacity of 6500 which includes a facility for 70 disabled persons. Hospitality areas include restaurants, bars, executive boxes and major function spaces.
BCAL are proud to have been appointed as project managers, civil and structural engineers and CDM Co-ordinators for this unique complex which has achieved national recognition. Our design for the recently completed east stand has been particularly well received for its structural elegance and the visual presence of its curved roof.
