BCAL were pleased to have been awarded the Principal Designer role for the base build and fit-out contracts of this development.
The Lighterman is a new pub, dining room and bar spanning three floors, situated on Granary Square, King's Cross. The wrap-around terrace on the first floor offers panoramic views across the Square and Regent's Canal.
The name is inspired by the industrial past of King's Cross, and the Victorian lightermen who worked on flat-bottomed barges, known as "Lighter", on the canals and rivers of London.
The building was the final structure to be built as part of the Eastern Goods Yard area of King's Cross.
